Parking is available at the rear)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"details wp-block-heading\">Attend via Zoom:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"details\">Please <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.epcisg.org\/index.php\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"Contact Us\">contact us<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<iframe class=\"map\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d3156.2052801495583!2d145.14552641591237!3d-37.71485913616449!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x6ad637d039456ca5%3A0x8ce14c44c2a2250c!2sEltham%20CFA!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sau!4v1626094020844!5m2!1sen!2sau\" width=\"522\" height=\"530.094\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"ub_divider_d2d0164e-0462-4d61-bfa0-729678ef03d8\" class=\"wp-block-ub-divider ub-divider-orientation-horizontal\"><hr class=\"ub_divider\" ><\/hr><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle\" id=\"ub-content-toggle-765d82b0-1f13-4359-a762-d99ea8ed9259\" data-mobilecollapse=\"false\" data-desktopcollapse=\"true\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion\" id=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-block-\">\n                <div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-title-wrap\"\" aria-controls=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-0-765d82b0-1f13-4359-a762-d99ea8ed9259\" tabindex=\"0\">\n                    <h3 class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-title ub-content-toggle-title-765d82b0-1f13-4359-a762-d99ea8ed9259\">What happens at EPCISG meetings?<\/h3><div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-toggle-wrap right\"><span class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-state-indicator wp-block-ub-chevron-down\"><\/span>\n                    <\/div><\/div><div role=\"region\" aria-expanded=\"false\" class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-content-wrap ub-hide\" id=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-0-765d82b0-1f13-4359-a762-d99ea8ed9259\">\n\n<p>While Eltham Prostate Cancer Information &amp; Support Group meetings are casual, they usually follow a basic structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our convener begins the meeting with introductions and a reminder of the&nbsp;group agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We then conduct a \u2018health round-robin\u2019, where attendees can share or update the group on their current circumstances if they wish to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no pressure to contribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The round-robin leads into any other topics that attendees may wish to discuss, or questions they may wish to ask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We usually see around 8 people per meeting, most of whom are regular attendees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most people prefer to attend in person, but some attend via Zoom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Occasionally, we will have a guest speaker, usually a medical professional, or a representative from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prostate.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.prostate.org.au\/\">Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The length of our meetings varies but is usually around an hour.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion expand_title\" id=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-block-\">\n                <div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-title-wrap\"\" aria-controls=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-1-765d82b0-1f13-4359-a762-d99ea8ed9259\" tabindex=\"0\">\n                    <h3 class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-title ub-content-toggle-title-765d82b0-1f13-4359-a762-d99ea8ed9259\">Group Agreement<\/h3><div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-toggle-wrap right\"><span class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-state-indicator wp-block-ub-chevron-down\"><\/span>\n                    <\/div><\/div><div role=\"region\" aria-expanded=\"false\" class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-content-wrap ub-hide\" id=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-1-765d82b0-1f13-4359-a762-d99ea8ed9259\">\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What we share in the group remains confidential. What is said in the group stays in the group.<\/li><li>Although we share our experiences and journeys we do not give or ask for medical advice.<\/li><li>We have the opportunity for equal airtime and the right to remain silent.<\/li><li>We respect each person\u2019s opinion.<\/li><li>We have the right to ask questions and the right to refuse to answer.<\/li><li>We provide support to our members and their families throughout their prostate cancer journey.<\/li><li>If a member passes we show compassion and support to their family.<\/li><li>We participate in community events to bring about awareness of our Prostate Cancer Support Group and its benefits of attending.<\/li><li>We participate in some fundraising activities to cover the costs of our group and its promotion to the Community.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We hold monthly meetings.
